#370: Not all feeding therapists are on board with baby-led weaning. In fact, many Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists who specialize in infant feeding mistakenly think that baby-led weaning is dangerous or that babies do not have the ability to feed themselves.

In this interview episode, feeding therapist Jill Rabin, MS, CCC-SLP, IBCLC talks about baby-led weaning in the feeding therapy community and how the next generation of feeding therapists are increasingly embracing this safe and effective alternative to conventional adult-led spoon feeding.

Jill Rabin is the creator of the Adapted Baby-Led Weaning Approach (ABLW) and she co-authored the groundbreaking book on ABLW “Your Baby Can Self-Feed, Too: Adapted Baby-Led Weaning for Children with Developmental Delays or Other Feeding Challenges”
