Top of the mornin’ to you! It´s time to put on a green top hat and get all the Irish clichés out of the closet to celebrate the 4th drunkest holiday of the year: Saint Patrick´s day! What started as a religious date in honor of the man credited with getting rid of all of the non-existent snakes of Ireland in the 4th century is now a major event on the international party calendar. Every year on the 4th of March an estimated 13 million pints of beer are enjoyed worldwide, all of them in honor of this mysterious British (!) Christian missionary. That´s not all, parades are held all over the world to honor Ireland´s culture and its people. But what is the holiday really about, you ask?
