3 John 1:2 KJV

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

It's God's will that only the best things happen to us.

Bad Things happen to Good People because God has given all men Free Will.

You must understand that all men are in control of their actions and all men are responsible for their actions.

When a man does something wrong we cannot automatically give God the responsibility for that man's actions.

To ask that God make bad things stop happening to Good People is to ask that God should take away Free Will from all men anytime they want to make a wrong or decision, then control us as puppets to make the Right or Holy decision.

What kind of world is that?

God doesn't want to be a puppet master. For one thing, man losses his God - given purpose if he becomes a puppet. When we worship God, God wants us to do it because we want to, not because he is shaking a string.

Love ceases to exist if we are all puppets.
