Many people even choose to give something up during Lent to identify with the suffering of Christ. But in our focus on that suffering, we often miss the most important aspect of Lent: the resurrection of Jesus. Something miraculous happened during this time 2000 years ago. A virtually unexplainable event that changed the course of human history. A man died, then rose the grave.
