Why does God call women to submit? PART 1 | From a Biblical perspective and thoughts from an ex-feminist and a born-again Christian | Rediscovering Biblical Femininity

Have you ever wondered why God calls women to submit? Has the Holy Spirit been convicting you on submitting to Him as a woman but you don't know why? Or perhaps you are a young lady and you have read Bible passages on wives submitting but you don't know how they apply to you because maybe you yourself aren't married.  

In this episode of Rediscovering Biblical Femininity, I discuss my journey being an ex-feminist and a born-again Christian and how God has shown me the beauty of true submission. I used to be the most devout feminist but Jesus Christ saved me by grace through faith in Him alone. 

In today's episode I take a deep look at the Book of Genesis to find out why God calls women to submit. I also talk about the importance of Biblical headship using Scripture. Also, how Jesus Christ is the best example of submission and that we should look to Him as He submitted to the will of His Father and was obedient to death even on a cross to save us. I also talk about why all Christian women should submit to their husbands(married or not) because the Creator will be our Husband. 

I reference Isaiah 54:5 to make the point that we should still submit to our Maker who will be our husband regardless if we are in an earthly marriage or not. I also talk about the distinctions between men and women using the Book of Genesis. I talk about how Scriptures that instruct submission still have authority today as "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." Hebrews 13:8
