2 Corinthians 12:7-8 Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.
THE APOSTLE PAUL HAD A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM
Luke 18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
GOD DID NOT RESOLVE PAUL’S PROBLEM AFTER PRAYING
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.
