Ā Without even trying to be mean, you have to admit that the way Sterling runs on the pitch is pretty hilarious.Ā
Many people have likened him to Velma of the popular animation series Scooby Doo because of that. Ā Once, Eden Hazard was caught on camera mockingly mimicking Sterling and the way he runs with his arms close to his body and his wrist sort of bent downwards. The rest of the Chelsea players in training with Hazard that day were having a good laugh.Ā
Well, some of them may have to explain to Sterling personally what was so funny when the Englishman completes his move to Stamford Bridge in a couple of weeks. Ā But then he was also once mocked by his former teammate, Benjamin Mendy, who jokingly inferred that he was a T-Rex because of how he runs. So, we think the Chelsea folk will be fine.
