This is the fourth in our Lenten series, “Why?” Zacchaeus, in the familiar story from Luke, may not be a bad person. Rather, he may simply find himself in a position of power and wealth that sets him apart from people who are needy. Many of us, too, find ourselves wealthy, simply because of who we are. Zacchaeus clearly seeks something else, and Jesus is there to deliver.
