Dr. Matthew Sowcik has been teaching for over 20 years and is currently an assistant professor of Leadership Development at the University of Florida. Originally from Wilkes-Barre, PA, Dr. Sowcik earned his Bachelor of Arts at Wilkes University, majoring in psychology and business, his Master of Arts is in organizational leadership from Columbia University. He followed that up with his doctorate in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University. Dr. Sowcik is also an author of the book "The H Factor", a book focused around humility and why it is the mindset that is critical for leaders to move from good to great.
