The recent Census of Agriculture shows that the number of female farmers in the U.S. has risen by 27%, and more and more of those females say they have a leading role in the farm.  Samantha Jean sits down with Amy Tavalin of Tavalin Tails Farm in College Grove to talk about being a farmer, mom, and business owner. Is work/life balance a myth? Has farming changed for women from the previous generation? And why are more and more woman being attracted to the farm life?
