The amount of grief, frustration or emotions that you are feeling shouldn't be defined by someone else's journey. It's okay to feel upset or have emotions about a situation even if you haven't been struggling for as long as someone else. Your feelings are NOT defined by someone else's standards.
Your feelings are VALID.
So let's stop going by the saying "fake it till you make it" because not only is that exhausting, but you are not allowing yourself to process your feelings or emotions.
