From his roots in Murang'a, he embarked on a journey that led him from the world of banking to becoming a renowned radio presenter and successful real estate businessman. His story began at Kenyatta University, where his passion for the arts ignited, leading to the launch of his debut album in 2006.

Despite working behind the closed teller booth at KCB, Family Bank, and Equity Bank, Mushaina’s heart was in the world of arts. His determination and love for music drove him to pursue a career that his family initially opposed. In 2012, he made a pivotal move by joining Coro FM and went on to win the Kigoocho Praise Award as an urban presenter in 2015. In 2016, he was honored with an award by Kikuyu Radio Awards.
Mushaina's music is a reflection of his journey, with songs like "Five it God," "Nyama Ya Kinandu," "Chukua baraka," and "Endesha Pole Pole," among many others.

However, his path was not without challenges. He faced adversity when he was let go from Coro KBC for compromising his principles and letting an artist promote an event that was not paid for on the radio.
