The Constitution
The Constitution of the United States of America is the supreme law of the United States. Empowered with the sovereign authority of the people by the framers and the consent of the legislatures of the states, it is the source of all government powers, and also provides important limitations on the government that protect the fundamental rights of United States citizens. The rights given in this magnificent document limited the power the government has over the people of this country. Giving Americans the highest level of freedom possible.
The Bill of Rights
James Madison introduced 12 amendments to the First Congress in 1789. Ten of these would go on to become what we now consider to be the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights established out liberties as citizens of this country. These 10 amendments gave us the ability to worship, defend ourselves, and gave us liberty like no other country in the world.
God, Guts, and Guns
Since her founding, America has been a nation established on Judeo-Christian beliefs. I believe the Bible to be God’s holy word. America gives me the right to tell you today that is my belief. America also gives you the right to disagree. Other nations in our world demand that you worship the government or Sharia Law. This is not true in America. Sharia Law will never be “law of the land” and I love America for this.
Guts
Americans have shown since her founding to have guts. The fortitude that we have shown from generation to generation has impacted history like no other nation. Our military has defeated tyranny, communism, and socialism. Our brave men and women prove every day that we are not afraid to kick your rump if needed. In the words of Teddy Roosevelt, “speak softly and carry a big stick.” America has had to flex her power a few times in history and you can be dang sure that if needed again we will
“Speak softly and carry a big stick.”American President Theodore Roosevelt.
Guns
Only three countries in the world give citizens the constitutional right to own firearms, Mexico, Guatemala, and the United States. The ownership of firearms is essential to the liberty of our nation. If you choose to not own a gun, fine, but don’t infringe on my rights to. Our founders knew from the beginning to best defense is a wonderful offense. Therefore they gave us the right to defend ourselves from enemies both foreign and domestic. My advice for the socialist who wants to outlaw gun rights comes from our founding fathers, “don’t tread on me.”
Old Glory
The American flag is a symbol of hope. It was the inspiration of Francis Scott Key’s Star-Spangled Banner after seeing the flag stand strong after an assault from the British. This national symbol of hope has been burned by en...
