I'm taking part in the JDRF Ride because I’m up for a physical and mental challenge that I know will be the experience of a lifetime. And, the money I raise will change the lives of millions of people who struggle with the burden of type 1 diabetes (T1D) every day.

My nephew Super Zach, along with other family and friends, have been living with this autoimmune disease that adds a few more obstacles to having a normal life. Their struggles and victories made me want to support them and their families in the one way I enjoy: through bicycling. That's why I joined the My Ride program, in hopes that what I do can help those I know and love.
