At the end of 2018, I launched a cake subscription service, "Courtney's Cake Club." As a member of the club, you'd receive premeasured and prepackaged ingredients for one of my cakes, along with easy-to-follow instructions for how to make each one. I was even doing exclusive videos for club members and had partnered with some awesome brands to add surprises in the boxes each month. 
By the middle of 2019, the cake boxes were being featured in O Magazine, Hallmark Home and Family TV, Entrepreneur.com, and The Today Show. It was a dream come true! But behind-the-scenes, things weren't looking as good as they did on the screen and on pages in magazines. We hit problem after problem and the decision to go all-in or pull-out was constantly hanging over my head.
