China’s humanoid robots have made a remarkable leap in endurance and autonomy. At the Beijing E-Town 2026 humanoid robot half-marathon, an Honor robot finished the race in around 50 minutes. This is faster than the human half-marathon world record. What’s more, nearly 40 percent of this year’s robots navigated the course autonomously rather than relying on remote control.
