Curiosity Over Fear

Why Is Emotional Intelligence Important? — Interview With Emile Steenveld

Listen Later

Ever wonder what it means to have emotional intelligence, how it looks like or if it’s even necessary to navigate life?
In this episode, I have a conversation with Emile Steenveld and we go over the different reasons why emotional intelligence is necessary to have a fulfilled and thriving life. Emile states how EQ is the “street smarts” that helps us navigate life and our different roles and relationships.
Emile is an emotional intelligence coach, specialising in coaching people to elevate their EQ (Emotional Quotient) and understand the true meaning of happiness and success.
Based in Bali, Indonesia - the Island of the Gods – he coaches high achievers who are ready to fill that ‘missing piece’ inside them.
People who appear to have that proverbial successful and entrepreneurial “dream life”, bold and confident on the outside yet unfulfilled and empty inside whilst boxed into an image of having it all, they are the who to work with him.
His clients are typically creative and practical people whose highest values are growth, integrity, and fun. They are the people who can dream up an idea and build a team to produce that idea; people who know how to achieve results above average standard.
However, they are also the people who don’t know how to relax without feeling guilty, the people who don’t know how to mend the relationship with their children, spouse, or parents, the ones who constantly need to hustle and grind to feel purposeful.
His clients come to him to have someone to share their thoughts with, gain clarity, a fresh perspective, and newfound confidence. To breakthrough.
His expertise is in showing people how emotions drive our behaviours and that the past is not left in the past if it is still present and taking up space inside our minds and bodies.
He takes people who have mastered the art of making money but do not yet feel fulfilled or able to fully be themselves and he shows them how to elevate the suppressed areas of their lives.
