Why God Gathers Us?
Hebrews 10:25 NLT
Gather to return and return to Gather.
Three reasons why God gathers us:
1. To Make Disciples
Matthew 28:18-20 NLT
Proverbs 27:17 NLT
2. To be publicly baptized
Mark 8:38 NLT
I believe making the public decision to follow Jesus breaks the spirit of shame off of our lives.
The shame of being unworthy of being called a son or daughter it’s declaring that even though I am not worthy on my own, Jesus makes me worthy.
3. To take Communion
Acts 2:42 NLT
1 Corinthians 11:23-34 NLT
