Episode 2 — Why Men Reject the Light
In Episode 1 we saw the powerful witnesses that testified of Jesus Christ in John chapter 5:
• John the Baptist
• The works of Christ
• The Father Himself
• The Scriptures
Yet despite overwhelming testimony, many still rejected Him.
Why?
In this episode we explore the Lord’s explanation from John 3:19 — why the human heart often turns away from the light.
The study also examines the striking example of King Zedekiah in the book of Jeremiah. Three separate times the king was exposed to the word of the Lord, and three times he refused the light. The result was tragic.
This message traces the pattern of Light before Love throughout the writings of John and shows why the real issue is often not lack of evidence, but the condition of the heart.
