Why is murder wrong? Or rape, or slavery, or sex trafficking, or genocide or physician assisted suicide? Is violating a person’s life only wrong because government says it is? If so, what happens when the politically powerful change their mind?

The Bible says that man is made in the image of God. So it is that all people are endowed with dignity. Apart from the truth that all humans are made just a little lower than God, dignity is meaningless, equality a sham, rights are ridiculous, and justice a mirage.

But if you and I are made in the image of God and dignity is real then government exists to protect all people equally and abortion stands as the greatest injustice in human history.
