To know God and be known by God is the heart of the Christian faith. We can know

God because of the identity, the actions, and the words of Jesus who is God

made human, who lived a perfect life and died on the cross for our sins, in our

place where we could not stand, and he fought for us, because we could not

fight, and he defeated all that stands between us and true happiness which is

to know God and in knowing God knowing ourselves.
