Candace shares her journey and experience as a first generation college graduate as well as the lessons she learned along the way. Candace shares the role faith and prayer played in manifesting all of her dreams including the college she had her eye on since childhood. Candace, a divine Professional Encourager, believes that God will give beauty for ashes. Motivated by her own college journey, she became an Academic Success Coach and College Planning Consultant. As the owner of Be Encouraged LLC, Candace assists students with time management, study habits, organization and self-advocacy. It is her gift to get students to know their identity inside and outside of the classroom. Candace serves as a beacon of light for families overwhelmed with the college process, providing them with support, guidance and relief. Throughout the years, Candace has helped countless students and families successfully plan, attend and cultivate a rewarding college experience.
