Chapter nine of Luke will be the centerpiece of our study. Imagine hosting a get together, and discover that you don’t have enough food to go around. That would be quite embarrassing, right? But in our day and age the problem could probably be resolved by making a trip to the grocery store, or making a phone call to a local restaurant. This luxury wasn’t available in the days of Christ, making what we’re about to read even more astounding. Five loaves and two fish. Perhaps enough to feed a couple of people, but certainly not five thousand, right? Nothing is impossible for God, and little is much in the hands of God!
