Living a meaningful life. That has been my goal for as long as I can remember. "Rather than fame, money, power," said Henry David Thoreau, "give me truth." I share his personal philosophy (he was the inspiration for me to move to PEI in 2017; and that trip changed my life). The truth connects you with reality. Do you feel anxious a lot, or more than you'd like to? Do you feel forced by parents, friends, your partner, or culture, to live out a life that you don't want to? Do you feel depressed, and try to drown it with alcohol and drugs, burn it with Netflix and sex, or secretly - or not so secretly - wish to end it all? If you don't feel good about your life, a potential solution to that problem is to be REAL with yourself. What do you REALLY want to do? Where do you REALLY want to go? Who are you REALLY? The "real" in "REAL-ly" can only be found by being honest with yourself and others - by actively seeking out the truth. This isn't a quick and painless fix. On the contrary! It will be painful as hell, and will end your life. With that said, if you seek the truth, you will live out the most meaningful of lives. You will feel connected to Source. You will have the courage to chase whatever dreams you have, as well as the humility to know when to stop seeking. You will reach you maximum potential. The truth WILL set you free. It's a cliché for a reason - it's literally true.
So I encourage you, whomever you are and whatever stage of life you are in: Tell the truth. Seek the truth. Live the truth. F*ck the rest because, honestly, it does not matter. The "rest" is an illusion, and illusionary rocks aren't made out of matter. Real rocks are.
And if you want me to help you learn how to think critically, just DM me. I am here for you. I totally believe in you, and it would be my life's highest honour to help you grow.
