Pet Peeve - when teachers fight the modem kids are using

Why not live in their world?  In the present?  If we’re going to prepare them for the future

Challenges in education & how you dug yourself out of the trenches:

Kids who don’t want to learn

Ask: “How are you?”

Help kids dig out of their mental trenches

Advice for New Teachers:

The content will come. Relationships First.

Try not to get flooded by too much information.

Build a Network
