Colonel Douglas Thomas is using his faith and six principles to aggressively push back against a foe that does not wear a uniform.  His battle against cancer has been supported by his family, faith and spiritual director who are helping him to continue to engage to be fully alive despite his illness.  He relies on his following six principles to maintain strength in his fight.
