Prayer is important because it helps us to stay close to God.
When we pray, we are opening up our hearts to Him and He is able to work in us and through us. Prayer also helps us to grow in our relationship with God.
The more we talk and spend time with someone the more we get to know them. The same thing happens when we spend time in prayer connecting with God. The more time we spend talking to Him, the closer we will become!
Prayer is important because it positions us to receive God’s peace that surpasses all understanding. In life’s hardest moments (and even in the good times), prayer helps me stay focused on what’s close to God’s heart!
who can help you focus, find peace, comfort, healing, strength, purpose and so much more. Prayer is important if we want to grow deeper in our walk with Jesus.
Just like how talking with a friend or family member helps you connect and grow closer, prayer is communication with God and allows us to grow closer to Him!
Thank God for prayer!
Prayer was a lifeline for Jesus and becomes one for us as we press into His presence. We should also mimic the prayer life Jesus exemplified in our fast-paced modern world where we are easily consumed in the busyness of day-to-day tasks, obligations, and commitments. Prayer can be a sanctuary for us like it was for Jesus!
If anything, Jesus showed us that prayer is not an optional practice for Christians, but is a spiritual discipline needed for spiritual vitality and maturity.
Prayer isn’t something that Jesus only did once His earthly ministry began. Before His baptism, transfiguration, and crucifixion, Jesus made prayer an essential element of His daily life. His prayers were never self-focused like how much of what we pray is. They were selfless and always seeking the heart of the Father and His will
when the the church wake up and realize that the closer you move towards God then you will start to Die to this world
