Sales is a permission based activity between humans.
People humans like to be treated nicely.
It’s not a lot to ask to ask people to remember their manners how to treat people well.
We need cooperation and respect on both sides.
You can think of it like an equation. What I give out is what I get back.
My mother has a wonderful expression:
“You train people how to treat you.”
If you’re okay with people being discourteous, you are training them to continue to treated them this way.
The danger is that people then absorb this behaviour or centre behaviours and reflect them out to your customer base.
Courtesy matters and courtesy really matters among professionals.
