To some, the Bible is just another good book, but they may not see it as THE good book. For others, the Bible is part of their lives. They read it. They study it. But they often stop there. For us, the Bible is not meant to be an endpoint but a means to an end, and that end is a relationship with Jesus.

Without a proper view of that goal, it's easy to see why reading the Bible can become a tedious religious duty rather than an interactive experience. That's precisely the way God intended it, however. He wants a personal relationship with us; the primary vehicle is the Bible. If we shift our view of the Bible from a textbook to a personal letter, listen, and apply the words to our lives, we will begin to see transformation because of our relationship with Christ.
