In Todays episode we bring on Chidiebere Ibe. He is Nigerian born and at just 27 years old is breaking barriers in the medical space. He is best known for his ground breaking illustrations showcasing people of color, specifically black people in the medical space. He has dedicated his life to fight the fight against racial inequalities through his art, where only 4.5% of medical textbooks showcase people of color. In this episode we talk about how faith played a role in his journey, how he got into illustrations, and lastly why it is important to see equal representation in the medical world.
