Negotiating Change & Building Resilience Podcast

Why Resiliency and Mentors Matter

Listen Later

We all rely on our ability to "bounce back" from challenging circumstances to continue forward. These circumstances change us, often for the better if handled appropriately.

1. Reflect on the people around you that rely on your ability to be resilient i.e. family, friends, other stakeholders. Draw motivation from this.

2. Reflectinternally on the times you WERE resilient and overcame challenges. Who were the people, skillsets, knowledge levels that helped you during this time?

3. Now look externally at the people around you that have gone through hard times and come back stronger. Ask them good questions.

4. Read good biographies.
