There is no legitimate reason to rush a project. There may be reasons for needing a specific timeframe, and this still needs to be clear.
The more 'rushing' that occurs the more problems a project is likely to face. Don't put that added pressure on your team by specifying an unrealistic timeframe for delivery. It isn't worth it.
