This week, teen climate activist Greta Thunberg was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for the work she’s done to raise awareness about climate change. While her speeches, renowned for being unapologetic and blunt, have mobilized millions of people around climate action, her communication style has also spurred massive backlash. Today, we’re talking about the most effective ways to talk about climate change, and why we need to change the typical narratives around the issue. We’re joined by Kamyar Razavi, a journalist and PhD student at Simon Fraser University, who specializes in climate change communication.
