Why Setting Fitness Goals Is So Important with Ron

Listen Later

Meet Ron, an 87-year-old man with very lofty fitness goals. Jennifer met Ron when he was competing in a bodybuilding competition at the age of 83. After working a stressful job in engineering, Ron found himself needing a 5-way bypass surgery. This was the wake-up call that Ron required.  Stepping down from his position for something less stressful, Ron ultimately went into an early retirement. He definitely didn’t slow down, though, and that’s when he really got into fitness.

Watching his younger siblings and friends pass away, Ron became committed to his health. Last year, Ron set and exceeded his goal of walking 2,000 miles. This year, he’s on pace to meet his goal of doing 40,150 push-ups.  He’s already planning his goal for next year, which includes an ab roller. Ron’s mindset and drive inspires everyone around him.
