This time of year is a time of reflection and I reflect a lot on the year this time of year. What did we do as a family? What did we want to do, but not get around to doing? What were my health goals this year? How did I do? What worked and what didn’t? How can I continue and what can I change? What in my business can I adjust? How can we be more fiscally responsible and what are our goals in every area going forward?
I think that too many times at the new year, we set these lofty New Years resolutions; I’m going to drink a gallon of water a day, exercise 6 days a week, wake up at 5 am each day, cut all carbs, and lose 40 pounds by march. That, my friends, is like drinking from a firehose! I know the title of this episode calls it right out there: Why Setting New Year’s Resolutions is a Sure Fire Way of Disappointing Yourself. Why that title? Because it’s true! ONLY 9% of people who set NY resolutions ACTUALLY accomplish them. NINE…yes 9 percent.
So, here are my top tips for setting GOALS for 2023 and being one of the ones who accomplishes them! It’s time to have a healthier connection to your health goals. Ready? Okay!
