Why Should We Care About Emotional Intelligence?

Listen Later

Emotional Intelligence is one of the missing skills from our education system. Rarely were we taught how to deal with conflict, how to make good decisions for the long-term, how to manage stress, and how to be comfortable expressing our deeper feelings and what we truly want.

I’ve noticed the lack thereof within my life and how it’s kept me complacent in my career, relationships, and hobbies. Learning about emotional intelligence has created a shift from me passively sitting in the backseat of my life to taking lead and being more assertive with how I want to live.
