In this episode, we talk about how to manipulate your body to sleep 4 hours a day. This is another one of those touchy subjects a lot of people don’t like talking about. We’ve been told by society over and over again what to eat, our career paths even how long we should sleep.. If you’re sleeping 8 hours a day 5 days per week and sleep 10 or more on the weekends, you’re not living.Â
I emphasize finding your purpose in knowing what brings you happiness throughout this podcast for a reason. If you have a journey to start, or a designation to get to your purpose will drag you out of bed.Â
What if you just want to get more out of your day or life? Could sleeping less really help? YES!!! We all get 24 hours, the question I have for you is how much life can you fit in it?Â
In this episode I want you to explore the idea of different sleep patterns. Just like everything else we talk about on this podcast, there’s a learning curve and this one by far will challenge for you.
Do your research there are several sleep patterns the one I use from time to time is Biphasic. This one allows you to get the sleep that's needed sleeping 5-6 hours at night ( In my case 4-5 hours ) giving you an extra 2 to 3 hours before the day even begins. But you will have to take a midday nap, which could be anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. Putting you in deep REM sleep leaving you with a burst of energy.
Make sure you do your research and figure out what best fits your body, mind, and spirit.Â
