Many people assume that if a thought keeps appearing in their mind, it must mean something important or true. But the subconscious mind works differently. Sometimes thoughts feel powerful simply because the brain has labelled them as significant or threatening.

In this episode I talk about why certain thoughts repeat, why trying to suppress them often makes them stronger, and how the mind can get stuck in loops of overthinking and anxious spirals.
