Speaking in tongues connects us deeply to the Holy Spirit, enabling access to divine revelation and God's hidden wisdom. Unlike human knowledge, this revelation carries spiritual power that draws people to truth. Jesus and Paul both demonstrated this power after periods of spiritual separation and alignment with the Spirit. By praying in tongues, we edify ourselves spiritually, give thanks in God's native language, and pray out the mysteries of the kingdom. To experience this power, we must turn off distractions, dedicate time to praying in tongues, and ask the Holy Spirit to help us interpret the mysteries we're praying.
