Intelligence is not Enough!
Most people have an IQ in the 90 - 109 range. You're considered a genius if your IQ is 132 or above. Chris Langan has an IQ of 195, the highest known IQ in the US. He started talking at 6 months and by age 4 could read and comprehend books. His IQ puts him in the same class as Sir Isaac Newton and Michelangelo. He's in his mid-forties, and he works as a part-time bouncer at a bar and lives in a one-room house on $6,000 a year.
— 4 Make priorities a priority!
there is a glut of smart people who run around and do lots of stuff but with no direction or priority.
It is like the guy who knows how to invest, he studies the tables, charts, the market the overseas yen and euro and watches the tech market… studying the new insights and break throughs… and never sets a priority to invest. The best investors do not invest the most, or make the best choices…the best investors make it a priority to invest on a regular basis. You may know it all, but unless you know how to set priorities to get things done and a time line to get things done… you will fail. One of the greatest pick items I got from 7 habits of highly successful people is writing down the roles I play in my life, and then right down goals, to dos and priorities to get them done.
There will always be things to do
There will always be important and less important
But there will always be the same amount of time for everyone AND…
There will always be those who know what is most important and know how to set a date on a given timeline to get it done.
- 5 Bad attitude, arrogant, complainers pessimistic… you missed it!
There are some people in scripture who are not named by name, they are not named by nationality, they are not named by male or female… there name is simply Murmur’s and why? because they are murmurs! That is what they do… you know what else they are not called? Successful!
THIS IS THE… the only disease that makes everyone around you sick except the one who has it.
There is an old saying that goes like this “some people are so full of what is right, they can’t see what is good”. The idea is that some have attitudes so focused on the negative and such poor attitudes they only see what is right but by pointing out what is wrong. Did you catch that? There is nothing that can drive a person crazy then hearing someone tell you what is right by pointing out all that is wrong… I have worked in churches my whole life…and if I had a dollar for every time I heard a staff member say “well at our old church they did it this way”…
IT IS NOT THAT WE DON’T APPRECIATE YOUR INSIGHT INTO WHAT IS WRONG… IT IS JUST SIMPLY THAT YOU SEE EVERYTHING AS WRONG.
I refuse to be around whiners and complainers… won’t do it.

How many smart people don’t need anyone else… it is a sad but startling reality. I see so many people who think they don’t need help, they don’t need to be your friend, they don’t need to reach out and build relationships because they are special and unique due to their giftedness. It is almost like a kryptonite they feverishly and knowingly hang on to.
I have never met a single successful person who has not had an amazingly webbed network. In fact successful people may just simply be successful because they know how to network more than any other skill they possess. Think on that for a second… whatever you are lacking can be made up by your ability to network!
