In an editorial published in this week’s EIR magazine, Lyndon LaRouche outlined the dynamics of what he called the shock “Pearl Harbor effect” in the population which he experienced after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. We are in such a period now, a “boundary layer,” a kind of “transonic” region which separates the preceding 30 years from that entirely new order of things, for better or for much worse. The turbulence we are experiencing is characteristic of this boundary layer. Public opinion trends have little to do with how this will turn out. Rather radical changes are afoot as the axioms by which individuals form their beliefs are radically challenged.
LaRouche said, the choice of new beliefs under these conditions will be governed by “the relative optimism or pessimism prevailing,” and whether there is confidence in a new emergent belief system.
In a youth conference sponsored by the Schiller Institute last week, younger people from throughout the world stepped forward and called for an end to the present coup in the United States against Donald Trump and the continuing British instigated fight between the three nation states who could actually overthrow the present dead and inhuman globalist system, Russia, China, and the United States. The natural optimism present in young people fighting to challenge the present “system” must spread now as the antidote to the cultural pessimism which is the enemy’s sole weapon.
