The Memphis basketball team has positioned itself well within the March Madness bracketology landscape. 

The Tigers are 14-4 and tied for first place in the AAC at 4-1. The Tigers have five Quad 1 wins. The Tigers are currently projected by some as a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. 

But wins and losses will only take the Tigers so far. Penny Hardaway and his team do not have the luxury of simply concerning themselves with winning to improve their seeding prospects.
