Togo people avoid each other for many reasons. Being part of your community abroad is a good thing. Unfortunately depending on individuals experiences people avoid each due to many reasons. Some reasons might be to protect peace, respect and dignity. I don't know, maybe each individual experience and decision might be different. Overall togetherness and community is best when living in another country.
