When you are in a new city where you don't speak the language it would be so easy and comfortable to mix people who look and sound like you but my guest today Flavilla Fongang chose to do the opposite when she arrived to study in the UK. 

Instead, she came up with an interesting formula that took her outside her comfort zone, involved food and Eastenders but got the desired result of learning English in 2 months.
