Show Music: Group: The Crazy Spoonheads – Song: Ghost of a Child
00:18 Message from Nicole and Joe
1:48 THE SHOW:
Happy New Year, everyone.
Holidays can suck but remember to enjoy your time on this planet. Your kids will need you to be the best version of you available. It can be hard sometimes, but you’ve got this, Daddy.
Holding my father’s hand as he lay in a hospital bed this week alerted me to a different pain parent alienation and false allegations bring.
No one holds your hand when you’re old and scared.
So, if you haven’t spoken to a parent in a while, with what little time we have on this planet, does it matter why you stopped or rarely talk?
If you are at the “maybe it still matters” level, consider reaching out to them. At least you tried, and not all alienated parents know what a podcast is, so they don’t know the end to silent domestic violence is coming, and DV perpetrators and facilitators will be held legally accountable.
