It is undisputed that both the Agriculture and Gardening industry needs to reduce the use of chemical fertilisers. We are using the by-products of the petro-chemical and explosive industry to grow our food and if nobody sees the irony of that, then unfortunately we are even less educated than we think. We say, we are what we eat, and the same counts for the plants that we eat. An orange contains 10% of the nutritional value that an orange had 100 years ago, for one simple reason. Our plants are not getting a balanced diet.
