Don Ossewaarde, staff and faculty member at Providence Baptist College, gives a brief explanation of why we use the King James Bible and consider it to be the inspired, preserved Word of God for English-speaking people. He calls these few points his Bible “sniff test” which has helped him determine why some Bible versions don’t measure up to the historical validity, doctrinal soundness, and beauty of the King James Bible.
