Why Will You Die? (Ezekiel 17-19)
There is almost nothing more painful for a parent than to see their child go astray. It’s heartbreaking to see them walk in the way of evil and face the inevitable consequences. How such a parent must long that their child would turn their life around! In Ezekiel 17-19, we see that God feels the same way about sinners. God is totally just and will punish sin as it deserves. But he has no pleasure in it. Instead, he longs that we would turn from our sin and live.
