Rape episode, controversial as it is, touchy as I may be for some, this is the nature of the human species. Rape exists in all cultures across all times, and men (not boys) in society (not in prisons) are not at any real risk of being raped, but women are.
This has evolved a gender difference in behavior due to the need for a sense of safety particularly because only women get pregnant. So the risk is much greater for women and the nature of a man is to control his mate to not only protect her, but to ensure his paternity of the child. Hence gender roles and genetically sexist dispositions are a reality of the natural world, not a construct of imagination.
