Food is essential to life. We should undoubtedly eat enough to stay healthy and active. However, the food we eat should also be healthy and full of all the nutrients our bodies require. But how can we completely heal our bodies by eating in a specific way with our cycles? Breaking away from the diet stigma needs a stable mental aspect in balancing your relationship with other people and your business.
Katie Markel is a Marine Veteran, B.S. Kinesiology, CPT, CES, Rock Steady Boxing Coach, NCI LV1, Holistic Health Practitioner. I've lived a few lives lol I have a fall prevention company and just launched She Eats in April which is helping to break the diet stigma telling women it's their fault they can't lose weight. That they need to work harder and eat less while complete disregarding their hormones.
This week’s Healthcare Hacks and Connections, Nathan Navas and Katie Markel will talk about work ethics and the drive to keep pushing and always make light of everything and not take everything so seriously, breaking away from the diet stigma, mental aspects of being a business owner, and balancing relationships and business that helps keep the working environment a place where you can fill your soul.
They will touch on such topics as:
Hack: Adopt and triumph. It’s okay if it doesn't go the way you expected it to. Learn and evaluate from it. It doesn’t matter if you are behind the curve. Maybe you will jump on the next curve because you figure out a new way to do it.
